After ankle surgery I knew I would need something to help me get around for at least 10 weeks. I probably read over 1000 reviews of different types of knee walkers. I am so glad I selected this one. It is very stable. It rolls super easy. It has two brakes which are indispensable for this type of product. The seat part has a depression For your knee that goes in both directions. This made it easy when I had to be up close to the sink. One complaint I saw in many reviews was on the brake system not always catching. As long as you depress the brake knob the way the instructions advise – I never one time had this problem.

3 A true lifesave for those who can't use crutches! 

Sturdy, easy to assemble, highly adjustable. This thing is a lifesaver. I bought this to use while I'm recovering from acchiles surgery. I was a bit worried about how much pressure it would put on my knee, but the channels on the seat make it easy to adjust your position to avoid pain. I would suggest putting the "seat" on so that the word "drive" is upside down. It you are tall, then you need that extra space between the handlebars and your body.

I got sick and tired of dealing with Insurance. For the price, this has saved my life. So portable, very sturdy AND the best part (and I researched the heck out of these things before buying this one) is that the little dip in the center is a GREAT resting place for your leg when you are in a chair/ on the toilet, or wherever you might need to sit ha ha. Get the VIVE Knee walker pad cover for it or your knee will stick and get the Schwinn Quick Release Wire Basket and you have all you need to get around while recovering from surgery! I don't like letting others take care of me, and with my basket I can toss all my food and coffee thermos in and make my own meals, move around the house etc...

Also, it doesn't like to go "off road" but all you have to do is expect that the handle bars will loosen and you just retighten them. I have had the wheels off road a few times, in the grass at on gravel. It wasn't the best idea I ever had at all, but the wheels did hold up.

The knee walker is a must have for an ankle injury. I do wish that the wheels had some traction, but other than that I couldn't have made it the last couple months without this. I will also say that I did have a slight issue after I purchased my first one (the knee cushion ripped and the breaks weren't working very well) so I contact Amazon and they replaced it right away. I was so impressed with Amazon's customer service!

The walker arrived carefully boxed and ready to use after about 15 minutes of assembly. It has been a life saver for me. It turns on a dime, rolls easily over my wood floors - without marking them, and has helped me recover quickly from foot surgery. The first couple of days, I even rode it right into my walk in closet to undress. I am widowed, and have no one here 24/7 to help me. I rode this thing back and forth to the kitchen and couch, into the bedroom, and I even took it to the movies with the help of a friend. I attached a basket which was very handy. I am only 5' tall and the seat adjusted low enough to be very comfortable for my knee.

This handy knee walker has proved invaluable to me as I am recovering from Achilles' tendon surgery. I use it to scoot all over the house and have gotten good at backing up to make sure it is positioned correctly for me to stand up as needed. The knee cushion is extra cushioned and being able to put the knee two different ways is a big help too. The hand brakes come in handy to go up and down ramps. And the grandkids love to play on it! I would highly recommend it!

Better than expected. This item is quality built and very strong. The frame is welded like a quality bicycle. I'm 200#, 6'2" and the adjustments fit me perfectly. Just what I needed to get around while wearing a boot on my broken foot. Steering is excellent, good enough to get around in the house without scrapping the walls. I was really impressed with the easy operation. Great wheels and bearing allow you to scoot with a minimal of effort. Previously I tried using a walker and placing my bad foot leg on the seat, the scooter works 10 X better. Makes my convalescence a lot easier. If unfortunately you need one of these you will be happy with this product.

For instance, I spent 11-days on a cruise ship with no problems, but fell exiting the terminal when my scooter hit a crack in the walkway and my small wheeled suitcase hit the wheel. Because of the cast, I couldn't get up without help. Instantly, I was surrounded by men who picked me up, made sure I was okay, and got me moving again. I was traveling alone with my scooter, a leg cast, tote bag and a small spinner wheel-suitcase.

It's no doubt fun, but if you ride one be very careful. I rode 2 wheel motorized vehicles from age 13 to 67, from a mini bike with a racing kart motor and a top speed a bit over 60 (back about 1963) to Harleys and other large motorcycles once I grew up. The mini bike had larger wheels than this and I was warned by more than one motorcycle cop about how easy it would be to wreck due to the tiny wheels. One I still remember said "If you hit a cigar butt with those little wheels you'll be nothing but a grease spot on the pavement." This doesn't go fast enough to make a grease spot, but you sure could break an arm or damage yourself in other ways. Have fun, but watch for holes or small obstacles in the street.

Nice machine !!! Came boxed like a diamond and all put together. I took it to Florida for two weeks and it was easy to park in a resort area and let me get around. Watch out for pot holes because they will jar your teeth but the scoot will be OK. The only problem I had is that the horn stopped working after only one day but I will look into it this week. It was easy to transport on the back of my SUV with a cargo carrier. Five ratchet straps and a large chain to keep people from removing it from the carrier and it was as safe as if it was in my garage. You need a cable lock to park it for any length of time to keep people honest when you park it. I'm a little wider in the bottom so it would be nice if you could order a BIGGER seat. Not everyone is the size of the people in the adds. All in all I think it was a great deal and would buy another one with No hesitation.

We already have a Razor RipRider 360 that is old and finally gave up, so I ordered 2 eZip 450s. Very disappointing. These scooters are made for sitting only, even tho the seat is removable, the handlebar height is not adjustable, impossible to stand and ride, very uncomfortable. The handlebars are so short they are unusable standing up. Do not buy this product unless you want a sit down only scooter. Am stuck, cannot return them.

2 Poor Customer Service By flmom 

Scooter, which was my son's only wish on his Christmas list, was shipped MISSING the charger. When I phoned customer service, 7 days before Christmas, was told that I should have opened the box sooner as now they can not guarantee charger will arrive in time for Christmas. They would not overnight the charger to me and would only send it Fedex ground, which can take 6-10 days, arriving AFTER Christmas. I was also told Currie was 'doing me a favor' by not charging me for shipping the charger, which they forgot to include in the box in the first place! The days of a company taking responsibility for a mistake and correcting it are gone. Will not order from Currie again.

I bought this for my ten year old and I wish I did not. This product looked nice, but after the fifth use the scooter completely stopped and threw my son over the handle bars. It was horrifying! 7 Lasted 6 months By Mike S. 

Seemed well built but could not withstand a 13 year old boy for long. In all fairness, my son is rough on things but within the first month the power button broke (snapped off). Cheap, easy replacement but after about 3 months the scooter would only go about 1/2 as far as when new. I charged the battery and know it was done right. Right about the 4 month mark the front fork broke at the frame. At this point the scooter was useless and probably would have been trashed by most owners since the warranty for this is only 90 days. Since I have a welder and some amateur welding skills, I was able to fix this and re enforce it with extra steel. The wheel bearings were also toast and I replaced them at the same time. The fun part about that is there are 2 different versions of the bearings and there are absolutely no makings or documentation on which ones you might have. I had to poke-and-hope and luckily I guessed right. The brakes broke a few weeks ago and the battery is nearly dead. Not sure it's worth spending another 100+ on this. If your child is careful with their stuff this may be OK but I would avoid if you have a very active, typical teenage boy. It just won't last - electric scooters for kids

The speed is good (~15 mph) but the breaks barely works at all - something my 9 year old complains about regularly. Appears there's a break light but that either doesn't work or is just for show...

The scooter is pretty quiet since electric. Fully charging the battery is good for about 20-30 minutes of riding (decent, I think). Unfortunately, the breaks are important and really affect our satisfaction with this scooter (our family's fifth)
